Welcome to my website!
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Harper Adams University.
I come from France, where I completed a BSc in Life and Earth Sciences and a MSc in Plant Production Management. After graduating, I moved to the UK for my Ph.D. project. You can find more details about the latter in the navigation bar.
I am interested in entomology, invertebrates conservation and ecology, and Integrated Pest Management. I particularly enjoy communicating research to fellow researchers, farmers, and members of the public through outreach activities. I have experience identifying butterflies, moths, spiders, and ground beetles to species level.
Since August 2023, I have been an Associate Editor for Antenna, the magazine of the Royal Entomological Society. I also helped create and I am leading a support group for PhD students at Harper Adams University, which started in April 2024 and runs once a month.
Professional memberships: Royal Entomological Society, British Ecological Society, Association of Applied Biologists, Butterfly Conservation.
Mechanistic understanding of the spatio-temporal distribution of the grey field slug (Deroceras reticulatum) as part of the SLIMERS (Strategies Leading to Improved Management and Enhanced Resilience against Slugs) project. You can read more about the project’s findings in this Patch treatment guide and in our latest peer-reviewed paper.
If you have any question, feel free to email me.
Your can also contact me through the platforms in the navigation bar.
I had the opportunity to present the latest findings of my colleagues and myself on grey field slug aggregation behaviour at the Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) IPM conference in Leicester on 12-13th November 2024. The theme of the conference was ‘Biocontrol and IPM in Uncertain Climatic and Economic Environments’. Lots of interesting talks from inspiring experts on agricultural pest control facing new challenges such as climate change.
